This school year Barrington 220 is celebrating its 50th anniversary and we want to make this a parade to remember!

We strongly encourage the entire community to get involved by designing and decorating a float for this year's parade. The theme is "Rock and Roll" so think of some fun, unique ways of creating your float to help incorporate the theme. Remember to show your pride in Barrington!

The parade will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023

The parade will follow the traditional route from past years from Wool Street to Main Street, and west on Main Street toward BHS.

Please join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony immediately following the Homecoming parade, to celebrate several completed Build 220 construction projects at Barrington High School!

The ceremony will begin at approximately 11:15am, right after the parade down Main Street. Please meet at the Main Entrance (Door 45), which faces Main Street.

Following the ribbon cutting, you will have an opportunity to tour the new spaces at Barrington High School including the new dedicated Student Services area and the new Athletic/P.E. wing! Pending construction, there may also be an opportunity to explore the new Culinary Arts Lab.

When you walk into Countryside you can't help but feel a strong sense of belonging. As a staff, we strive to instill positive self worth in each student. The highlight of my day is greeting students on the playground each morning. From the moment they arrive on campus, we want students to know just how much they matter to us. Kelly PintaiDAL Coach

Countryside is more than just a school. It is a second home where students and staff feel valued, loved, encouraged, and supported not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It is a place where voices are heard, relationships are formed, friendships are made, and cherished memories are created by staff and students alike. I have called Countryside my home for many years and I can't imagine working anywhere else.
