When you walk into Countryside you can't help but feel a strong sense of belonging. As a staff, we strive to instill positive self worth in each student. The highlight of my day is greeting students on the playground each morning. From the moment they arrive on campus, we want students to know just how much they matter to us. Kelly PintaiDAL Coach

The best place in the whole world to be in is my school, Countryside elementary. I feel safe and protected and at the same time I’m learning with the best teachers in the whole world. I have the most amazing friends. I have learned to be respectful and responsible. I am a wildcat.Blanca CastroStudent

The Chinese Immersion Program has brought so much diversity to Countryside both culturally and academically. Students in the program are inspired by the language and connections they are building every day with students across the world. I feel so lucky to be a teacher in the program, which has tremendous support from families and staff here at Countryside and across the district! Shu XanderChinese Immersion Teacher

Countryside is more than just a school. It is a second home where students and staff feel valued, loved, encouraged, and supported not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It is a place where voices are heard, relationships are formed, friendships are made, and cherished memories are created by staff and students alike. I have called Countryside my home for 20 years and I can't imagine working anywhere else.

I love Countryside because the teachers do fun projects to help me learn, like when I solved a mystery in second grade and when I made a shirt with 100 poof balls glued to it for the 100th day of school in kindergarten. I really enjoy STEM because coding for Dash and Sphero is really fun. Also, the classrooms are amazing because they’re clean and organized.Hailey PritchardStudent
