Barrington 220 serves approximately 8,000 students from across a 72 square mile area including all or part of: Barrington, Barrington Hills, Carpentersville, Deer Park, Fox River Grove, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Lake Barrington, North Barrington, Port Barrington, South Barrington, and Tower Lakes. 

Across the district, students come from diverse backgrounds, with nearly 70 different languages spoken among our families. The top five languages include: English, Spanish, Polish, Urdu and Mandarin. Nearly 60% of students identify as White, 18.3% identify as Hispanic, 16.7% identify as Asian, 1.7% identify as Black, .3% American Indian, and 3.9% identify as two more more races.

Barrington 220 parents and guardians play an active role in the school district. Each school has a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which is made up of dedicated families who fundraise and plan activities for students and staff throughout the school year.
